Rosy-finch Paint Along

As a thank you to all of our wonderful rosy-finch feeder counters, we are offering a FREE zoom Paint Along event on Thursday, May 6th from 7pm-8pm!

Tracy Aviary’s Conservation Outreach Biologist and artist Frances Ngo will teach you step-by-step how to paint a gray-crowned rosy finch! Follow along with our suggested materials or whatever art supplies you have at home.

This virtual event is FREE for rosy-finch volunteers, and requires registration to join. Following registration, you’ll receive a confirmation page that includes the link to the Zoom meeting. Questions? Email conservation@tracyaviary.org

Supplies (feel free to use any media you’d like, but here is what we recommend):

• Paper towels/newspaper

• Water glass

• Canvas or thick paper

• Large, medium, and tiny paint brushes

• Acrylic Paints, in the following colors (or similar): black, white, pink, yellow, cerulean blue, beige, dark brown
