• How do we use these post-assessments? We grade these assessments and observe your growth in field practices to determine your readiness for volunteering as either an observer or a recorder during a point count survey. By seeing how you do online and offline, we can also see if you need more coaching in certain birds! So don’t worry about perfect scores—we want to see where you are at and how to keep supporting your birding journey with us!
